What is Pudo?

Pudo is a smart locker delivery system that’s changing the courier game in South Africa. You can use pudo to send an item anywhere in the country, as long as it weighs under 20kg and fits in one of our convenient pudo Lockers.

As a DMC Wholesale customer, you are welcome to book your own Pudo, send us the locker info, and we will drop the parcel of at our closest Pudo locker for you.

Please note:

  • Our closest Pudo locker is Sasol garage, Risiville / or Courier guy Three Rivers (communication will follow as needed if other locations should be considered)
  • You can book Pudo to yourself (all consolidated weekly orders, can be sent to you in this way)
  • You can Pudo parcels directly from us to your own customers. No contact info or any references will be made on the parcels referring your customers to us...it will be as if you send the parcel. If you want to make use of this option, make sure to place each customer's order seprate...to avoid any confusion.
  • A R20 admin fee applies to all orders you place on our website. This is for packing and admin related to your orders.

How does Pudo work?

  • When you want to send a package, login on the website or on the app.
  • Then make a booking by selecting a locker, filling in the online waybill and choosing the correct box size. You’ll get a PIN code to access the locker.
  • Drop off your package:
    • Go to the selected locker and drop off your package by entering your deposit PIN code.
  • Pick up your package:
    • If you receive a package in one of our lockers, you will receive a notification with a QR code and PIN code for the pick up.

What does it cost?

When selecting the "I am booking my own Pudo" on this website, a automatic R20 admin and postage fee will apply. This admin fee will be added to your total order amount, that is payable via the various payment option provided at check out.

Below are the current rates for pudo. These fees are payable by yourself, when you make the pudo booking as described above:
